BI PO Recruitment 2023- Selection Process

The SBI PO Selection Procedure comprises three phases: Prelims, Main, and Interview. Each phase holds equal importance, and qualification in each round is crucial to progress to the next stage until final selection.

Stage 1: SBI PO Prelims

The SBI PO 2023 Notification Prelims Exam serves as the initial testing round for candidates\’ general aptitude. It is conducted online and has a duration of 1 hour. Stage 2: SBI PO Mains

Candidates who pass the SBI PO Preliminary Exam are eligible to appear for the SBI PO Mains Exam. The SBI PO 2023 Notification Mains Exam consists of an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test. The Objective Test in the SBI PO 2023 Notification Mains Exam comprises four sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Computers, and General/Economy/Banking Awareness. A Descriptive Test of 50 marks follows immediately after the Objective Test. A category-wise merit list is compiled based on the aggregate marks scored in the Main Examination. The bank may choose to administer a Psychometric test to those candidates who progress to Phase III. This test is used for profiling the personality traits of the candidates.
