- The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added to the selection, and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the Main Examination (Phase II) and marks obtained in the Interview.

This year, LIC has introduced a modified salary structure for AAO. The basic pay stands at Rs. 53,600 per month, falling within the scale of Rs. 53,600 – 2,645 (14) – 90,630 – 2,865 (4) – 1,02,090, in addition to other admissible allowances according to regulations. In A-Class cities, the total emoluments, inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc., amount to approximately Rs. 92,870 per month.
