IBPS RRB OS-I 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for IBPS RRB OS-I 2023 Exam, a candidate is required to fulfil the given eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria Requirement

Age Limit (as on 01/06/2023) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive). For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 30.06.2005 (both dates inclusive). For Officer Scale-II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive). For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive). 
Language Proficiency Candidates applying for the posts of Office Assistant in any particular RRB are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State/ UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview.

IBPS has provided the exam pattern and syllabus not only for IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1, 2, 3 but also for the Office Assistant position in the IBPS RRB notification 2023 PDF. Notably, the exam pattern for the Office Assistant role differs from that of the Officer Grade selection.

For IBPS RRB Assistant 2023, the examination comprises two stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam

It\’s noteworthy that there won\’t be an interview process for selecting candidates for the Office Assistant position. The selection will be solely based on the marks obtained in the Mains Examination.
